What really ruined the experience for me - I lived in a pretty nice apartment with classy hard-wood floors and decent kitchen appliances. Do Not Rent Here!!! - Cheap living but expensive repairs. There are gun shots weekly, fights in the parking lot, and police are always chasing someone.
