Alpha management does have nice apartments, but slightly on the expensive side for Carbondale. They are even more expensive when you add in the security deposit they will undoubtedly steal from you. They charged me 300 dollars for a list of lovely items, such as failing to lemon oil all of the molding in the apartment. I have lived in college apartment all over the country for the last 15 years. In that time I have never lost a cent of my deposit. Alpha has insane standards for cleanliness and a preachy, self-serving attitude toward the theft of your deposit. Stay away from these people, the are simply crooks. If you do decide to rent from them, calculate the monthly cost based upon the loss of your security deposit.
