When myself and my roommates first toured one of the town homes, we were ecstatic to move in. It looked great and everyone seemed nice. Well, days after moving in we realized it wasn't the case. There was a 2 week period in the middle of the school year where the internet just flat out didn't work. It wasn't the provider, it was Aspen Court. In our town home, only about half of the ethernet ports actually work, the other half give no signal whatsoever. You get to deal with sometimes unannounced visits from the manager and if there is any problems in the place, he'll immediately charge you for it. In total, the internet was out for a combined time for well over a month. Not exactly helpful if you are a college student. There is a liaison officer that works, and is great, but they recently hired a new one that has actually called the police on multiple parties. Their job is to prevent that from happening, not be the cause of it. The walls and doors are paper thin and you can hear everything. It is just absolutely ridiculous. You have to pay for parking, which for one is crazy but there is almost no guest parking whatsoever. And with that guest parking, many of the lazy tenants park there so there may be only 5 or 6 total guest spots out of hundreds of tenants on a given day. After 3 pm on a Friday, you are guaranteed not to have a single guest spot for the weekend, so if you have parents in town or friends, they'll have to park at the dorms which is about a mile away unless they want to get towed at Aspen. The only thing I have to say that is good about this place is that it is a very safe area. Other than that, this place is horrific.
