DO NOT LIVE HERE! - I rented an apartment on Lincoln for the summer. It was basically just to have an apartment to keep my parents happy but I stayed at my boyfriend's place. I was never there! The apartment was absolutely disgusting when I got it. My mom and I spend hours cleaning but it was still just filthy. The stove looked like it was too old to actually work correctly(never used it) and the fridge ...Full review of Royal Rentals

The pros and the cons at saint germain apts - yes the hallways could use some attention "Most" of the time, but what it doesn't lack is freindliness, Our property manager is the best, JEN is fair, upfront and very attentive. If there is an issue she stays with it until the finish, everyone gets along, and our tenant area is kool and laid back. Moved here in June with my daughter, we like it! ...Full review of Saint Germain Square

Touche - I would recommend Brookside. First of all, it's not a crap hole like most of the apartments in Carbondale. My rent was $320 per month, all utilities included. The only issue I had with parking was: if you are having guests at your apartment to spend then night, you had to go in and get a pass for them to park at Brookside; the passes cost $1 per night. If you don't get ...Full review of Brookside Manor

Good place if you like slums I lived there for a school year. The place is a dump; dirty, always smells like cigarettes. Apartment move in condition is filthy.
Most of these are probably lies; the creepy maintenance guy 'Chuck' was running up and down the hallway knocking on doors

Everything that Glitters AINT gold! Great on the inside but minimal is done by those who work there. During the ice storm they did not even bother to accommodate the renters just simply allowed us to be iced in. They never plowed when it snowed. Moving out was a hassle because he expects everything

SGS is a nice place to live, I have only lived here a couple of months and haven't had any problems. Parking can be an issue at times, as there is limited street parking and only an alloted amount of parking spaces for the complex.
