Mr. Burk is a penny shy of a slum lord. He does the minimum to maintain his properties and when they get too run down he sells them. Thank God our house was sold now things are getting fixed properly. When we moved in they said they painted. Yep..everything! Over stickers, dead bugs, outlets, phone jacks. Oh, and they painted everything but the ceiling which I dont think has ever been painted. Its almost black! The carpet was not professionally installed so when I run the sweeper sections come up in the living room (and not cleaned as we were told when we moved in). The electricity is not grounded in the house and the cable is jerry wired across 4 houses. We looked at 2 other places owned by him and they were horrible. They closed blinds to cover broken windows (which he won't replace) and mirrors and stuff to cover holes in walls and stains on the carpet. One place we looked at the floor was sagging so bad in one room I was afraid for the person who rented it. Thay would fall through the floor if the weighed over 200 pounds! You could bounce on it like a trampoline! He over charges and has ridiculous rules. I would not recommend Burk properties to anyone. You can find something much nicer for the price.

The author of this review was actually being kind. He/she should have said a few words about Burk's low-class, abusive, *insulting* behavior problems. Who wants to be barked at like a dog and insulted repeatedly? Do yourself a favor, rent from a repectable landlord who will treat you with respect.
