I was a sophmore and I couldn?t wait to get out of the dorms. What a mistake. During the warm months I had wasps invading my apartment constantly. I notified the staff that the wasps were crawling through the windows (they were not sealed well). There response was to spend the maintence man up with a can of wasp spray, nothing else. I heard squeeking sounds and some wires were cut apart, the maitnence man came and set a trap, its been over 2 months now and they still haven?t picked up the trap (I?m still tellng the staff its here. Then there is the noise. The floors don?t keep out any noise. I can here the apartment below me. I can actually tell what movie their watching. I notified the staff abou the noise, all they have done is left the apartment a few notes in their mailbox, nothing more. Now they tell me that there is nothing else they can do. In the ads that the Quads has in the newspapers they list ADSL, this DOES NOT mean they have ADSL, the phone lines are compatible with ADSL but it is not provided by the Quads. Also the swimmng pool I never saw open, I'm sure it was at some point but just not at the hours normal college students keep. Overall I would not recommend this apartment to a bum living on a street corner in Chicago (its got to be quiter there). Honestly I believe the only thing better about the Quads than the dorms is not having to eat the food.
