I really disliked this place the most out of all apartments I have lived in. I have lived in apartments since 1995. And this is the ABSOLUTE WORST. To me I encountered several racist slurs/remarks from property manager. She was basically saying that since there is gov't subsidised housing in this complex that things are not going to be the as nice as some where as it does not have subsidised housing. Saying that my expectations were to high. I moved in on the first day, and the apt. was completely unsatisfactory. The walls were dirty, the heat was broken to where it was literally in the winter time of moving in and it was a sauna, you had to open the balcony door to have it be somewhat comfortable. Any time you had a problem, or a maintenance issue, the office staff, was very rude, and took forever to get things fixed and then you would just need to call again and again to get it fixed. The secured entrance, well that was pretty pointless for it never locked, kids running in and out, down the halls. Paper thin walls. Parking lot was horrible, kids playing in parking lot, throwing rocks, sticks etc often. Playing football in lot, therefore I encountered a dent in my car from that. If you wanted people to visit from out of town or stay for the night you needed to get a parking permit and the got all this information on the person staying. Their name, license tag etc. None of their business information. Hello we ar not in college, and don't need to check in our guests. Dirty halls, falling apt. fixtures in halls, and entrances. Dirty carpet. Overall I think only people who want to be treated rude and have your apartment unclean, and dirty should rent here.
