I thought when I moved in this was a nice place and that management and staff was great. How quickly things change - a few months and what a mistake this was. So mcuh for the smiling, friendly and caring manager who now seems he could care less about whether you are happy. Parking is horrible after 5, property has so many dark unsafe areas as well as overgrown landscaping, loud, rude neighbors, lots of strange activity on property as well. A well lit property and a better handle on parking issues would greatly increase some safety concerns of residents. Trash all over the place by dumpsters, snow removal was an issue with what little snow we had so far. Really unreal - time to renovate, hike the rates and get a better community here.

When living in an apartment you will have issues with parking and loud neighbors. That is the price you pay for being in an apt

I had a very similar experience. My neighbors were not only loud, they were illegal! I can count dozens of times I returned from a run to find a police cruiser parked outside my very building. One particular instance I had to make way in the hall for the officers as they escorted an individual out. This is TERRIFYING for a single female. Another of my personal favorites: A family living below me had 3 under aged children who would rough house in the common hall in the wee hours of the morning, any day of the week. I was ofter woken up by slamming doors, screaming, pounding feet and cackling. Apparently there was no parental supervision after midnight for these doomed kids. And don't bother bringing up concerns to mangle-ment. Once you sign the lease, the only feeling they have for you is at best apathy.

I love the "mangle-ment" term! Great description. My neighbors were awful as well. They left three giant canvas paintings in the hallway along with a smeller shelf of shoes for over 6 months! And I'm not exaggerating on the use of giant here - these things were as tall as my boyfriend who's 6'4"! And did anyone else notice there were never carbon monoxide detectors installed even though that was the new law as of Jan. 1? I'm so glad to be out of there!

The new management seems to be better, and they just renovated the all the commons areas.
To the comment above, there is no need for carbon monoxide detectors since there are no gas appliances or heaters, it's all electric.
