I really enjoyed our lake view apartment when we first moved in, but the location was not secure. We had everything in our locker downstairs stolen (all my baby's things) when someone broke off the lock and took everything. You have to park 5 miles away and the geese poop everywhere. They switched management, and the new people don't care!

I am interested in renting here but after reading this I am concerned about the security of the storage lockers and property. Are you able to get more secured locks put on or do you have to get locks that are easier to break into? How is the lighting at night and are there any patrol people that overlook the property?

This apartment is totally safe. I've never seen crime ever here. I walk my dog in the middle of the night, I'm a 23 y/o female, not very big. I'm not scared. Lightening isn't amazing but like I said, it's not scary. My locker had a broken lock loop on it, so I didn't put a lock on. I think someone just took that opportunity.

My boyfriend's car was broken into a few months ago while parked in the lot overnight. They stole his stereo, so i wouldn't leave anything valuable in your car. I'm pretty sure they don't have a patrol, but i see cops roaming the parking lot late at night sometimes. Never had a problem with my locker the door to the storage room is locked and then we have own lock on the locker. The lighting is just ok, could be better.
