I have lived here for about a year and a half. The partment sizes are great, its not entirely upscale, but for the price, you are getting what you pay for. You also have free heat and air conditioning, and that makes it more worth the price. I do agree with some of the things the previous person said. The kids do get on your nerves, and people do leave some garbage in the stairwell, anything from beer cans to candy wrappers to banana peels. There are people that live there that have a lack of heigene. I however have never seen a roach! And like I said you get what you pay for. Plus I know that they are updating all of the kitchens, so I dont know if that means they will raise the rent or not.

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ABOUT RAISING THE RENT, THE ANSWER IS YES, THEY ARE RAISING THE RENT AT LEAST $300.

Never move into this ghetto building. is is filthy, people throw their garbage and beer cans off the balcony. mexican music blasts at all hours. stairwells are used for toilets and garbage and the smell of dirty diapers especially on the third floor is putrid. MANAGEMENT SUCKS - THEY ARE RUDE TO PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN............WASHER AND DRYERS ARE FILTHY AND VERY EXPENSIVE.....NEVER MOVE HERE

As far as Parkway Commons I have lived here 8 years and it used to be that way from the previous owners as for the new owners u people are wrong it is completely redone the halls and landscape r great my neighbors r wonderful the staff is very helpful and very easy going. Understand I have had some problems with the upscaling but they have been right there to fix everything fast and I mean no waiting I would and HAVE RECOMMENED to friends and family members about living here I have nothing but GOOD! to say about Parkway Commons Some of the people have been here 25 plus years and have also seen all the ruccous and trash leave this area since new owners r here things r calm and very relaxed here and I have no plans of leaving any time soon or in the future So that brings me to wondering why u guys before me didn't want to sign your name to your statements possibly because they were untrue.....Living here is very pleasent for myself and for my neighbors....I also see that it isn't overrun with any one race we all are living together and getting along quite well So I recommend u check it out for yourself...come over for a visit and I'm sure u will be pleased with everything as I am...
