I want to start off by saying that I have lived here for seven years. When my family first moved in this place was great. They did criminal background checks on every one before they moved in. I don?t think they do that anymore. The office staff was awesome though I did not like Debbie Seemed that all the contracted work got farmed out to her husbands company. Not sure how that worked out like that HMMM' But as the years went by, there where many changes around the property and in the management staff some of them where good others not so good. The place is going downhill and fast

Lets start out with the good.

1.The grounds where kept up very well.
2.New landscaping which was nice.
3.Most of the people that lived there are nice and easy to get along with.
4.Sandy still works there. She is the best part of the management staff.
5.If you need something fixed you want to request Mell he knows what he is doing.
6.They put speed bumps in the parking lot.
7.There is a swimming pool.
8.New washers and dryers put in last year and they work.
9.They do have some events for the kids. Could use a few more.
10.Was a nice community living and made many friends there most we still talk to.

Now the bad

1.The new property manager is arrogant and seems other office staff is on eggshells when she is around. No respect for the other office staff or the people living there. Kind of stuck on herself but I guess that?s what happens when all you care about is trying to make your self look good in front of your boss.
2.Not much to do for the kids. Playground is outdated though they did paint in two years ago. I?ve read some of the other reviews about kids playing in the street and being loud well one this is a community living and there will always be kids remember you where once one. They play in the parking lot as there is nowhere else for them to play. No side walks to ride their bikes on. Yea there are sidewalks but they go from one end of the building to the other that?s it. Not much fun going back and forth. A basketball court/half court might be nice as well.
3.Most of the parking spaces are right on top of one another hence the dinged up car doors.
4.The apartment walls are very thin and you do hear your neighbors they hear you as well.
5.Hot water is not a problem here except when you are taking a shower it can get really hot. Our kitchen sink we would run for a while to get cold water. Might be something the management would want to look into in saving some of the water bill.
6.Lots of geese and geese droppings but this is a problem all over not just here.
7.Only three washers and three dryers for every 35 apartments and if you do not live in the middle section of the building you have to walk outside to get there. A bit cold in the winter.
8.A lot of cut through traffic flying through the parking lots hence the speed bumps but that was only done two years ago. Thanks Ana!!
9.Lighting around complex was good seven years ago but now repairs are needed and not getting done.
10.Rent is a bit high I did not mind it when we first moved in as it was nice and kept most of the problem people out. Now accepting more section 8 and it seems as if they don?t care who moves in just keep the apartments full.
11.They could involve the kids more in doing things to keep the community clean. IE offer a group a kids a job to pick-up trash and give each kid a section of the complex to take care of pay them a buck or two to do it. Thus giving them the chance to respect their community and less likely to do damage to it.


There is more but I think you have a nice summary of how things are here. It was nice and I want to thank everyone in the old management staff for making this a nice place to live at onetime. Here is hope that they can get things turned around and back to how it used to be. Sandy keep up the good work and the best of luck to you!!!!

Property Mangers should care about the staff and there residents. That is the only way to make a community worked
