Don't do it, you'll regret it for sure.

If you are considering living here, do yourself a favor. Drive by after a huge snowstorm and take a look at how the property is taken care of. This past week when 17" of snow fell, the parking lot was a complete joke. I couldn't get my car out of the parking space, let alone back into it (took me over an hour and a shovel with 2 men pushing it) and could not go to work. 5 of my neighbors also got stuck, because there was NO PLOWING done until 4pm that evening. By then, the entire parking lot was a sheet of ice. On top of that, all of our cars were plowed into the spaces so the residents were left with digging ourselves out. If I wanted to live this way, I'd move to the city and park on the street. At least I know I'd have a good parking space that I shoveled out myself. It's been 3 days since the snow came and the parking lot is STILL full of ice. Lawsuit, anyone' If someone falls and breaks something in the parking lot, perhaps then someone will be considerate enough to SALT it.
During the summer months there are UTI students who live here and 99% of them are a complete nuisance. The reason other apartment complexes do not allow them to live there is because none of them follow the rules. Think about it - they're 18-20 somethings living far away from home (most come from out of state). They all have loud cars that are raced through the parking lots day and night. The ones who lived in our building had loud parties every day until about 2am (the police came out several times for noice issues), it was constantly screaming and yelling and acting immature. The stop signs on the property were ripped out about 10 times, and the signs pointing to the leasing office were completely destroyed. Most weekends they would run up and down the stairs and lock each other out of their apartments so you'd hear loud banging and screaming in the hallways. This is not a college campus, it's where I live and I don't appreciate their behavior at all. I've spoke to the property manager more than a few times about it, only to get the same response "I spoke to them and I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding" or something to that effect.
I recently had to call the police because a known neighborhood crack head was sleeping on our front porch one night. I feel very unsafe living here and cannot wait until the lease ends so I can get out of this dump.
Don't fall for the sales pitch - just ask anyone who lives here - they'll tell you!

Oh how I can relate. I have UTI students living in my building as well. Their loud parties all hours of the night and screaming is out of control. Forget about noise complaints, you won't get any response unless you call the police (and what can they really do?) A few of them were arrested last summer for sneaking into the pool naked! Unbelievable stuff going on around here. Hard to imagine I've lived here almost an entire year, can't wait to get out.
