After reading some of the horror stories, I felt I had to say something. I just renewed my lease for the 2nd year, and am very happy with my apartment. The maintenance staff does a good job keeping the grounds and building clean, and I have had no real problems.

I must admit, the walls could use more insulation, but it's not all that bad. Also, I live on the third floor so I cannot speak to the problems of hearing neighbors above me - but that's why I picked the third floor! I may be lucky with my neighbors too, as they are all relativey quiet and responsible people.

The laundry facilities are clean, dry, and always working. The elevator works better than 90% of the time, and made moving in extremely easy. I rent a carport, which not only guarantees me a spot, but does a great job of protecting my car from frost, snow...etc. Also, makes it easy to exit my car with an armload of groceries during heavy rains.

I won't be here forever, but while my life is in transition, Village Park as suited me well.
