As a former resident I would not recommend this apartment there were several things wrong when I first moved in 2 of them were major
1. The first real cold spell in 2004 there was no heat for about a week & a half due to the furnace being replaced
2. The same time there was no heat there was also no hot water due to the water heater being replaced.
These were the 2 most serious problems especially having a pet & it was around 40 degrees at night.
Another problem was the noise level, there was no sound proofing & you hear everything your neighbors say & do
3. did not feel safe on premise
& to make a long list short
4. Was not happy with maintenance when problems were fixed in the unit it was half done & had to be repaired several times or only part of the problem would be fixed & they would not come back out to fix the whole problem.
This is a live at your own risk apartment complex

heaters can break anywhere. They are old buildings and things like that should be expected. In fact, they gave all of us money off of our rent when that happened.

yes a whole $25 that really made up for being late for work almost everyday because to take a bath you had to boil water so you didn't freeze. When I moved out a called the city just to see what should be done when something like that happens, first of all the city said that it was a break in ordince everything should have been checked before the cold came, also they either should not have charged rent for the duration of the time of the inconvinence or put us all in hotels and coveraged the charge, it is a serious health risk to have both out at the same time. When they took the $25 off I nearly laughed in their faces, if what they did is exceptable to you then that is up to you but it was against city code.
