You're asking, "If this place is so lousy, then why did he stay here 6 years'" That's because I was saving for a house and I can put up with a bad situation for a long time before I had enough. Plus I got lucky with my apartment. No one should count on luck. I was on the top floor away from the outside doors with the broken locks and for half the time I was facing away from the real slums across the parking lot where latin music could be heard at almost any time, day or night. I cared more about things working than looking nice. Of course with the poorly named maintenance personnel, who only once did something right the first time, you have to decide what you can live with. Of course the management doesn't care and will lie to your face and never follow up on the promises their employees make. They don't enforce the rules except for payments. I have seen apartments filled over-capacity but they don't care. The only way to get anything done is to go to the person in charge and yell at them. Naturally they find any excuse they can dream up to deny you your deposit.

I recommend this place only for guys who keep to themselves and don't have much worth stealing.
