Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
This place went from bad to worse since me and my wife lived there. Just to give you some snippets about this place here you go...
-the management is horrible. we moved in and found one of our kitchen drawers would fall out, if you opened it. we called them they came over adjusted a screw said it was fixed. it wasn't. when we called again the maintance guy said oh it just going to do that.
_ some body vomited in our hallway. I went down to the office to tell them to clean it up. they said they would fix it. they didn't. Next day i did it again. same thing. the next day I did it again. five days in a row. can you believe it' five days I have to hop over vomit to leave. Finally I told the lady here come with me I need to show you where it is. It usually takes abbout five time for them to do anything there.
-I fell through the shower wall while taking a shower. the wall was moldy. they came by and fixed it after three days. they didn't use the right material leaned up against the wall and boom it happens again.
-I saw at least three fist fights in the parking lot while I was there.
-they put up speed bumps that were basicly over a foot tall so I could not drive my car to my apartment, because it would bottom out. (they did cut them in half after a month, But ask some of the people who lived there and were video tapping the sparks that cars were giving off as the drove by, they show you what was what.)
-It would be days before the would get a plow there in the winter time.
- you live a block away from 3- 8 sex offenders. it's true check out the carol stream police web site, they list it on line.
-we had a skunk that they would not remove living under the apartments. they said call the city and have them do it.
there is a smeel that comes in from the near by factories
-over all it was a bad place to live, don't be wooed by the indoor basketball court.
