If you are considering to rent a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment, I'm glad you are reading these reviews first. I moved into the complex under York tree... before The Renaissance took over. I have been severely disappointed with the office staff and have been frustrated more than I can count. A few months ago they dropped the bomb on us before summer saying that they wanted to re-model their office space so unfortunately the pool would be CLOSED ALL SUMMER!!!! This was piss pour management... remodel in the fall.. HELLO'!'! So- that's one thing that bugged me... Another, let's see- They do everything humanly possible to get as much money out of you as possible.. I moved in at 754.00 for my 1-bedroom and then they up-charged the laundry facility added a base amount of money for heating to all of our bills instead of paying for what we use Told us to remove our stuff from the storage units we were previously getting for free from York tree or else they would throw our stuff out So instead now they charge $18.00 a month for a storage locker in a room with only 1 working light GREAT HUH' So.. now for the office staff.. If you call, my recommendation is to keep calling because they DO NOT call you back! I have talked to 2 different people a total of 5 times to get someone over to replace the towel rack in my bathroom and it has been 2 weeks of NOTHING! It s just one of those things that gets you upset and you don t need that in a place that you are renting. Another thing that bugs me is that they do not send out monthly statements Now, I haven t missed a payment, but you have to add up your utility bill, your rent, and storage and any other amenities you have added to come up with your total for the month Come on, spend a few extra pennies and send me a monthly statement with a total

As for the apartment itself, it was a nice clean place. I enjoyed the layout and the room sizes I did not like how the bathroom fan had to be on every time you turn on the light it gets too noisy. As for the parking, you do get one nice spot by the door and then the other spot over on the visitor parking with the broken fences Yes.. Do read into that! Another con is that I have actually seen 2 drug deals outside my home. Yes I know it happens everywhere but come on. So that s my review and I m packing up my stuff now and moving out at the end of July I hope this review was helpful for you

Oh and I forgot... my neighbors both love loud music every night of the week.. I left a message on their door letting them know that I attend church on Sundays and would like a few hours of sleep on Saturday nights with no luck... If you are really sold on the price here... knock on the doors and meet your neighbors first!
