First off, I didn't like the apartment before we moved in (dark paneling, cabinets out of my reach) but for the price, it was pretty big.

The kitchen is decent, but almost all the cabinet space requires a step ladder to use.

The living room has dark paneling in it, which I didn't really like. The 'desk' looks like someone melted it...it's not flat across the top, but has a huge dip in it that makes it hard to use it for anything. Easy to fix with a couple boards.

Not long after we moved in the towel bar broke. We asked about it, but it was never replaced. The bathroom has no electrical outlets, which makes curling or blow drying hair a pain. The medicine cabinet is messed up and the light looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was installed. Our shower lining has cracked. There was a hole in the wall over the shower and their solution was to stick plywood over it. We have never had hot water in our bathroom sink, and every time we've had maintenence come out they have been unable to fix it.

The windows in the bedrooms were never properly sealed and it took over a year to get that fixed. The shelves, bars and desks in the bedrooms are just as bad as the one in the living room...they look like they've been banged up badly and they dip horribly in the middle. I had my dad come down and build another desk on top of it so it would be useable.

Overall the apartment is very poorly lighted. I'm not sure if the living room windows are drafty or not since we spend very little time there. There is not a lot of storage space.

There is a good amount of parking, however the security lights do not function in our area. The security lights in the stairwell of our building does not work either.

Noise isn't bad most of the time, but you can hear quite a bit when the upstairs neighbors are home.

Landscaping isn't bad and there is a huge courtyard, however you need to watch for pet waste.
