Some are nice

I have lived in Fairlawn Village (one-bedroom duplex) for a year and a half. The maintenaince problems I've had here have been promptly fixed by courteous staff.
However, renters should beware that the on-site manager who works for Barr does not seem to know what is going on a lot of the time. It is best to contact the main office for any problems/questions whenever possible. My initial opinion of the company was not positive because of a major misunderstanding between the two parties.
Since then my only complaint is parking. Spaces are always available either on the street or in the back alley. However my alley is located near the cable company and I believe it is because of that that I have had various tires punctured with nails a total of four times and one total tire blow-out.
This is the most quiet building I have ever lived in. Even when my neighbor had a very obnoxious dog, I could only hear him when the windows/doors were open.
