Today, I went to the Barr website and found an interesting apartment that I wanted to see, with $380/month rent. I called the Barr offices and spoke with a woman and asked her if I could be shown the property. She told me to come by their offices at 2:50 for a 3:00 showing of the apartment I described.

When I arrived at the Barr office on time, I was informed that the location I wanted to see had been rented for quite some time already! Instead, she wanted me to look at other properties, with almost double the rent/month! The woman at the front desk told me that I must have been looking at the "old website" and that the "new website" had all the up-to-date information, and showed me the "new" website on her computer. However, there is a big problem: THERE IS ONLY ONE WEBSITE! The one she showed me and the one I went to were the same, and the "old" website address automatically redirected to the newer site.

So, I wasted my time trying to see an apartment that had been rented, because Barr's website was out-of-date and the woman on the phone told me to come in for a viewing. Why did she tell me it was available and that there was a viewing if it had been rented already' Apparently, it's because they like wasting people's time.
