Very nice, cold in winter

I lived at Baytowne for one year, and liked it a lot. Nice amenities including a huge lake, pool, spa, gym, a racketball court, beach volleyball courts, tennis courts, bar and more. It even has a small sand beach where people can sun bathe (no swimming in the lake though). Staffs are mostly kind and professional. Had minor problems with one of the staffs, but was not big a deal. Security gate with guards who will take your UPS packages (which I liked it a lot). I have no doubt that this is the number one apartment complex in C-U. Location is superb: close to the highways, stores, supermarkets, restaurants, bookstores, and the mall. For that reason, traffic nearby might be a bit heavy during the weekends. My only problem with Baytowne is that the apartment is cold in winter, so you might have to spend some $ to keep you warm. Also a bit pricey compared to the other apartments in C-U, but it's worth it. Other that that, I was really happy when I stayed there. Recommend units north of the lake, because south units are directly facing Sam's club and Walmart, so you might not like it. FYI, units with nice lake view are not more expensive than the ones without lake view.
