The management here is rude and treats students terribly! I am a grad student at U of I, and was treated like a child. The management (particularly Glenda, the wicked ----- of the office) would scold me when things broke in the apartment, even if it was normal wear and tear. The area is very ghetto, and there was a murder in the complex last winter. I did not get my security deopsit back for "scuffs on the walls" It is incredibly loud there and the air conditioners don't cool the bedroom, so I was forced to sleep on the couch all summer! This place is terrible and it is a 40 minute bus ride to campus. Do not live here, trust me!

I agree completely! This is a horrible place to live. Don't be lured in by the low price - it is low for a reason. Live somewhere else even if it costs a little more. I hate it here and can't wait to move.

For one thing, Glenda seems nice to me. I do agree with the air conditioning complaint- you have to have the bedroom door open to get the cool air in. 40 minute bus ride to campus is an exaggeration. Both the Green and Orange lines leave around :30 and :00 and arrive at the Illini Union at ~:50 and :20, for a 20 minute ride. The :30 buses are especially good to make any classes which start on the hour.

we are moving out soon, what are our chances of getting the security depossit back?? There is a small punch through the bedroom door, small scuffs on the walls...some scratches on the floor..etc?
