Apartment was in terrible condition, uncleaned in years, and garbage still inside when I moved in. It was so bad, a television crew came and filmed it for a news item on students getting ripped off by land lords.

Gabes place was un-receptive to our compaints to replace broken furniture and the like, and wrongly charged us once, and lost our checks another time. Besides the terrible living coniditions, the washing machines ate people's money, and they refused to refund or replace them. The garbage dumpster was constantly overflowing as well. Noise is also a very serious problem, talking in the apartment next door can be heard loud and clear in the next apartment.

Parking is on the side street, but is enforced rigerously and there is no place to park if visiting. The grounds of the apartment are littered with garbage from years ago, and the apartment shook in high winds, and leaked cold air during the winter.

This is a typical landlord taking advantage of naive college students buying their first apartment. I hope you listen to me, you will be

i agree, the apt I lived in was terrible at Gabe's Place. I have the same problem. when i moved in i had no furniture except a mattress. I called the company manager and i was told to take the mattress and sleep on the floor like i was some kind of animal. This was very disrespectful. there was carpet on top of carpet. I found out because the whole place reeked of mildew and dirt. I paid to move in 4 days earlier b/c the company assured me that everything was done and it was ready to move in. I attempted to move in early. That did not happen because there was no furniture, the carpet was still wet everywhere and the fumes were so nausiating. the apartment complex stayed noisy and dirty. Trash was every where. there was a big leak in the aprtment that the maintenaince men just patched up with paint and it leaked again. There were exposed wires in the closet. the water boiler had a hole in it and the shower only stayed hot for three mins. I reported this and still nothing was done. I made a very big mistake renting this apt and i hope who ever sees this does not make the same mistake renting from Gabe's place. Trust me you will regret it!

the WROST apartment complex you could ever rent from.....management is very rude and disrespectful, maintenaince does not get anything done, everything is broken, dirty, unsanitary, and gabes place is money hungry. They charge a $20 late fee for rent and on top of that $2 per day after wards. Laundry machines are a rip off, there is mildew all over my walls(health hazard), my airconditioner had no top on top of if, I complained several times about it and it's still isnt fixed, walls are filthy, drawers are broken, and they try to regulate who you have in and out of your apartment. THEY SUCK........NEVER EVER RENT FROM THEM, IT'S A RIP OFF!
