I lived at garden village for 1 year and was as quiet as a mouse. I kept my apartment clean, went to work everyday, and kids were respectful to the property. But anytime I needed something done around the apartment, the landlady, Barbara, acted as though their was a problem. My son has allergies and asthma and I found out that there was mold in his bedroom. When I told Barbara, she said "well how do you know it's mold causing him to be sick'" The next day, her boyfriend came to look at the room and then wiped the wall with soap and water then painted over the wall. Later I was told by the maintence man that the cause of the mold was from a leak in the waterheater and that were unable to fix it. Since they were not going to fix the actual cause of the mold and it was causing my son to be sick, I asked to be release from my lease and Barbara said no and that if I moved out early, she would sue me for abandenment of the apartment. I finally was able to move out after a few weeks. I moved out on Thursday and there were new tenants in on Saturday. This goes to show you that they do not clean there carpets, paint the walls, or even fixed the mold problem.
PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS WOMAN!!!! You will regret it later
