I lived at gentry for 2 years. I loved my experience there. It was a beautiful complex and the management (Theresa) was great. She knew tenents by name and was always friendly! The townhome we lived in was beautiful! We never had any maintainance issues that weren't taken care of within 24 hours. Right before we left, Theresa left and new management came in. They were horrible....We took great care of our apartment and we were charged over $1600 in cleaning charges. They claimed they had to replace all the carpet, but we had it professionally cleaned before we left and it looked just like the day we moved in. They charged us a bunch of charges that we shouldn't have been charged. Unfortunately we moved out of state, so we didn't have the time or effort to fight it. We have lived in 5 other apartment buildings and have received majority to all of our deposit back everytime. It was very disappointing to have our experience at gentry ruined by the new management.

I work in the office at Gentry Square and was surprised to see this negative review. After researching their account, I found that they were actually charged $1,151.60 not "over $1,600.00". And, the resident failed to mention that the charges also included replacing a busted closet door (fist hole?). The carpet was replaced because it was brand new when they moved in, and despite their efforts in cleaning it, several stains remained. I've personally talked to them a few times since they've moved out and am disappointed that they've never mentioned they felt the charges were unfair and instead posted a negative comment 8 months after they left. We pride ourselves on the level of customer service we offer and are always willing to listen and/or help a resident with a concern.
