I have lived at Busey Court since August 2002. The apartments are (very) small, but nice and close to the Music Building and the Krannert Center. They replaced the refrigerator, bathroom sink, and bathroom mirror all last Spring ('03) in the apartments, which was good. The fridges are non-defrosting types, so no more defrosting every few months (yeah!). The furnishings were average -- somewhat old, but still in good condition. The sofa is comfy and not smelly, as is my mattress. The desk looked newish too. The microwave is old, but in good working order, as is the stove, oven, tub/shower and toilet. I have had good experiences with the office staff -- they are friendly and go over your lease with you even when you renew. I have not moved out yet, so I cannot comment yet about how quick they get your deposit back to you. The repair staff are good, getting your broken whatever fixed within a day, and they have an emergency number for emergency repairs that can't wait until Monday or the next day (if it's past regular hours). Parking is expensive, but that is to be expected for someplace so close to campus. The grounds people salt and shovel the steps and pick up the leaves and unwanted mail by the mail boxes. They do a great job. The residents are generally quiet. The only noise I had was from the brown building next door whose residents liked to have a party on their balcony every weekend.

So, I reccommend this place if you want something close to campus that is nice. Only drawback is expensive parking and the smallness of the apartments.
