ok place to live

It definitely is small but it's nice to have a balcony. In addition, this balcony has screening so no mosquitoes/bugs get in. Ladybugs do get in though.
I have seen no bugs except when I first moved in I saw two giant ants, and I've killed two spiders(one large, one small). I've lived on both the ground floor in the B building and the second floor on the C building. The ground floor's balconies are really crappy because they have dirt and weeds and bugs. Maintenance is quick and efficient. Supposedly there is monthly pest service but in actuality they come twice a semester or so. No pets allowed, unfortunately, but I've had a rabbit here all year and the pest control people haven't reported me and if they showed the apartment the person showing it didn't report me either. Everything is in pretty good condition. There is only one closet that looks like a guest closet but must be used as your own. Not much cabinet space. It smells under the sinks (bathroom and kitchen). Since there isn't storage I store stuff on the balcony. Parking IS expensive at $50/month. I've had no problem with loud noise. However, someone in the B building kept setting off the fire alarm (seriously like every week for an entire month or two). If you are living here be aware if you are a light sleeper that the garbage trucks come near the east side of the C building at 4 am and are somewhat loud. Electricity is about $35/month. Internet I think is $25/month. The internet is ok. I also recommend putting your bed on cinder blocks and storing stuff under your bed that way. Since this is such a big apartment complex the post office has po-box type things by the mailboxes if you get packages and they leave the key in your mailbox.
They really need to clean out the dead bikes by the bikestand (not always enough space). If you get an apartment in the fall it might be $20/month more than if you signed a lease in the spring.
