I lived on 5th St for a year and a half (three semesters and a summer). From the front, it is a very nice brick building, and there is parking in the back which is fine except for the potholes. I did not use the parking myself so I was not affected by that. During my time there, I had no major problems and only a few minor ones. There was one time with a party upstairs that got loud, but for the most part the neighborhood is pretty quiet. The appliances and fixtures all worked very well, small but nice. The one time that there was a major upgrade, when they replaced the windows, they left a large dent in the wall by the window, but this was not a problem for me and I did not get charged for it when I moved out. On the whole, it was a nice place to live, only fifteen minutes' walk away from campus, and I recommend it for those who want to avoid parties especially.
