I lived in an apartment on Birch Street for 3 years. I never had any problems with PPM. I only had one maintenance issue in 3 years, and the maintenance guy took care of it within a day after I reported it. I got back $300 from my $500 security deposit, and I actually thought I should have gotten less, since I had some various damage from my stay. PPM is fair and does an overall great job. The only minor thing is that their receptionist is suffering from lack-of-personality syndrome. But I found this more entertaining than a nuisance.

Which building did you stay? The newer building? I stayed in the old one so there are plenty chances they can charge me for no reason. They charge me over $400 even though I DID NOT damage anything and they gave me a dirty apartment before hand. One thing that is extremely annoying is that they DID NOT read the check-in list when they charge you.

Yes, I did stay in a newer building. Did you call or otherwise contact the landlord concerning your dispute for the $400?
