I rented a duplex at Urbana in 2007 for about a year. The duplex was very nice and my neighbours treated me as their family members. However, I had a very hard time to deal with the manager of PPM. In early 2008 I was planning to buy a house and asked the manager to sign a letter to prove that I have paid my rental on time, which is a matter of fact. The manager refused to sign the letter rudely. PPM mistakenly hired someone to mow the backyard in the middle of April without my awareness and asked me to pay the bill. Actually the lawn was well taken care of by a professional at that time. Moreover, I was threaten to pay an extra month rent due to their mistake. The one year lease with PPM was definitely the worst rental experience I have ever had. The manager is rude and unreasonable. So think twice before making your decision.
