I agree with everyone who previously posted that the management is completly unprofessional and unreasonable. I had many problems before I even moved in. I rented my apartment before I realized that I was switching schools for the next year; this made me have to find someone to sublease my spot to. First I would like to say that if you call the office and have to leave a voicemail do not bother, they will not call you back. Secondly it says in their sublease guidelines that they can help you find someone to sublease to, they refused to help me. Once I did find someone they gave her a hassle over her cosigner and never called her back. There were a few problems between the new subleasor and my roommate at first and because my roommate called in and asked what happens if she does not want to live with her, the landlords considered it a "conflict of personalities", which is to them is considered discrimination and therefore they took my away my right to sublease to anyone for the remainder of my lease term; which if you look in the Urbana ordinance is against landlord laws. Overall I would say that the place was nice and a reasonable price but I would never ever in a million years recommend siging anything with these landlords.

I completely agree. Absolutely terrible, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. I sublet from them for just a semester and it was a horrible experience. They are very stringent about their paperwork, which I respect. However, they are incapable of explaining their policies and charge you every chance they get for not following "their rules" which are never given in the first place. As for the ladies in the office, they need to get over themselves. They act as if they are renting penthouses in New York. Yes the apartments are nicer than many others in Champaign, but it is still Champaign and you are renting to college students with no money. Every time I went into their office to turn in my rent, I was made to wait and treated like an idiot for any request I made. I will say, the actual apartment I rented was very nice and well-maintained. Not at all worth the rude service and jacked-up prices. Again, DO NOT RENT FROM PPM!
