My lease can't be up soon enough. For what I pay, I think I should get a LOT more! There are radiators that you can NOT adjust at all. It is almost impossible to get a comfortable temperature. It gets boiling hot in here. You're constantly opening and cloing windows to keep it at a liveable temperature.
Did I mention the bugs' I'm not sure what they are exactly. I know they are big, brown and make a tremendous crunch sound under your shoe.
Let me tell you about their new parking system. Don's towing can randomly drive through the lot ANY time and if there is not a sticker then they'll yank the car. Yes, I appreciate knowing I will have a parking spot when I come home. However, it is NOT cool when my father drops by to pick me up, we're in the apt. for no more than 10 min and we walk out to find the guy from Don's getting ready to tow my dad. When we explained the situation he was nothing but rude.
We live across the street from a high school, and when those little punks park their cars in our lot don't expect Don's to do anything about it! They just tell you to call the police! It's fine when they WANT to come and tow a car, just don't bother them.
Just what does that Don's Towing sign in the front of our lot mean' I guess when they're low on money or bored THEN they'll cruise through our lot to tow someone.
Did I mention that Ramshaw had almost EVERY SINGLE person towed out of our lot at 11 pm one night BEFORE they even issued parking stickers' Even when the residents showed proof of residency Don's STILL towed cars!!! But of course Ramshaw said they weren't responsible and that it was Don's fault. SOMEONE had to tell Don's towing that they could start towing from our lot. Hmmm...wonder who that was!
Overall, I think Ramshaw charges WAY too much for out of date apartments. My cabinets are literally falling apart. The drawer bottoms are coming out. The lineoleum in our kitchen is probably at LEAST 20 years old. I'm not exaggerating. It is yellowed and cracked. The windows to not seal at all. The windows don't lock either. A MAJOR security risk being that we're on the groud floor.
Do yourself a favor, don't rent from Ramshaw. They'll overcharge you for a crappy apartment because they're a big real estate company and they think they can get away with it.
