I am a student in UIUC. I lived in their apartment for several years. They are keeping raising my rent. I got a quote even higher than the rent for new tenants. So I decide to move out. But they charge all my deposit for cleaning and damages!
They will deduct all the mantainace fees from your deposit even they are caused by normal wear.
They may charge less rent in the begining but they will get it back when you move out.
