I live in a property owned by Roland Reality that is not listed elsewhere on this sight. I have lived here for 3 years and have had a positive experience. My apartment was newly remodled when I moved in, so everything looked great and was in great shape. I understand that not all of the apartments in this building are remodled, so i cannot vouch for them, only apartment #104.
The living room and master bedroom are spacious, but the bathroom, kitchen, and second bedroom are a little small. The dishwasher and microwave work great. The central air and heat work almost a little too well. The laundry is a little expensive (.75 each), but the machines work well and the space is well lighted. The only problems with the apartment that I have are that you can get only seven minutes of hot water for a shower and the window frames are starting to fall apart. Maintenance is pretty good. When the wasker broke, they fixed it within a week. They come and clean the common areas about once a month. They do not clear the parking lot of ice, however they do provide salt if you would like to deice the walkways yourself. One thing I do not like about the staff is that they come into your apartment quite a bit without prior notice and let themselves in without knocking. Roland owns a lot of aparments, so i think that this building (farthest off campus) is a little off their radars, but they will come if you call them. The reason that I am moving is because i need more space (this apartment is approx. 690 square feet)and that this years neighbors have been somewhat rude. They put things like couches in the dumpster so that no one else can take their trash out for a week and they put their trash in the recycling bins so that the recycling won't be picked up anymore. I know this does not have to do with the apartments themselves, but if you are planning to move here this summer, these people might still be living here, so it is good to know.
