University Group is the worst landlord on campus after CPM. The people that manage the University Group apartments are so disorganized. For instance, every month my roommates and I submitted our rent check EARLY. But three out of the 12 months, we received late notices and fines!! I asked the manager to repair certain things in our apartment five times and they still did not do it. Only after I filed a complaint with the Tenant Union did the manager respond. My security deposit check was returned to me in a very late, untimely manner. When I moved into the apartment, one of the representatives lied to me about interent being free with the apartment. Our apartment did not even have ethernet jacks! The condition of the apartment at move-in was absolutely filthy. My mom and I had to clean it ourselves. Do NOT sign a lease with this landlord; keep away from them!!!
