The landlord is incompetent. The apartment was dirty. My roommates and I were charged for professional clean, but we never received service. We found Daily Illini newspapers under the stove from 1999. We rented in 2005. There were bugs. The doors leaked when it rained. There was little to no insulation. This was felt during the winter months. The landlord over billed us three months. Then twice they claimed we never paid our rent. Each time they messed up their accounting. The apartment had mildew everywhere. No student should have to live in those conditions. University Group should be fined and closed.
