When we moved in our aptartment in August 2005 it was absolutely disgusting. There was old silverware in the drawers, the refrigerator was sticky, the carpet made our feet black, and there were stains on the walls. Yet when we moved out, we were charged over $250 for cleaning, which I know wasn't done, because I know the people who live their now. When we tried to get some of this money back, Carol (the "manager") told us our apartment was disgusting when we moved out (we cleaned twice) and that we already got too much of our deposit back. She then referred us to her "lawyer" who, when called, stated that he is not their attorney.

Also when we moved in, my roommates window was attached by a hanger, and when the maintenance came to fix it he didn't put a screen in, which we were charged $90 for. Oh yeah, the maintenance guy dropped the window from the 3rd store and smashed a van. Good thing there were no people walking by!

Also, when we went in the last day of our lease to get the rest of our stuff, there were already people in it, and a neon bar sign and light-up palm tree were missing, which the dirty maintenance guy claimed were never there. But the palm tree magically appeared at the leasing office. No beer sign though. Coincidence' I think not.

The building was not kept nice at all. For most of the year a wire was hanging over the stairs. Even after calling, it took months to fix. It was always dirty in the halls, and the lawn was always dead.

I would NOT recommed this horrible landlord to anyone. The entire office staff is incompetent.
