There is a reason that University Group is the #2 worst landlord on campus. I basically lived in a hole for a year. The apartment was filthy when I moved in. Obviously they withhold peoples' deposits for nothing. Half of my room was in disrepair and took several weeks before I could get anything slightly fixed. The bathtub didn't drain well. The alley/parking area was trashy with lots of potholes. Now I suppose that I won't get my deposit back even though I spent days cleaning the apartment before I moved out.
