Terrible Management - There is no management at this building. Nothing gets done. They lost my rent check twice and ignored a complaint about ants in the apartment. The building is like a dorm building. It's dirty and it smells bad. I've ridden the elevators with peoples trash, beer cans, and on one occasion, vomit. The noise is terrible, as there is NO isulation. Even after two noise ...Full review of 833 W. Buena Ave.

NEVER MOVE HERE - We didn't know better and didn't read reviews. We have been living here for 2 months and we regret it more each and every day. As NYC transplants we thought that it was an incredible deal with the gym and all the ammenities offered. However, no one informed us of the construction that will be ongoing throughout the rest of our lease, limiting the ammenities including the outdoor ...Full review of Presidential Towers

Renters Beware, Might as well be the south side!! - I have lived here for two years, had no problems my first year. But the second year has been quite a change. I used to have semi friendly neighbors, families, young professionals. But within the last few months my safety has been jeopardized, ive been harrassed, hollered at by the new incoming tenants that are definitely ghetto class. These people blare little wayne till 4 ...Full review of Pavilion Apartments

Great place- great landlord, rent here! - I moved to Chicago with my dog 2 years ago and have lived in this building ever since. my standards are pretty high as I was used to a 3 bedroom house with modern amenties. I must say, living in 661 W Sheridan has been great. Its quiet, people are great, everything works, just a very coopertative company. Sally makes it all go and think she is the best, If I werent moving back ...Full review of 661 West Sheridan Building

You get what you pay for - Rent is cheap. Heat and water included. The apartment building is a historic 100-year old hotel that was converted into apartments. Because of those thick plaster walls, you'll rarely if ever hear your neighbors. It's pretty, but it's not been well maintained over the years. Old management was especially atrocious but new management by MAC properties seems to be an ...Full review of East Park Towers

Great Apt - You couldn't ask for a better location. Between Broadway, Clark and Diversy, everything is within foot's reach. The management is friendly and the maintenance guy for the building is wonderful. 1920s building has great character and has been maintained and kept clean. Built by president FDR's mother's family. Parking is available under the building and out front for a fee ...Full review of 510 West Wellington

Great Place to Live! - I moved in seven months ago from out of state. The building is amazing and the location is the best in Chicago. I am a single woman who never feels uneasy walking around this area alone. It is within walking distance to everything I need. Just a $2 train ride from right outside the side door to Midway Airport, the Blue line train to O'Hare is right in front of the building and the redline ...Full review of Fisher Building City Apartments

Planned Properties: Great Service - Just moved in about a month ago and have had a pretty good experience. My studio is inexpensive for the area ($700/month) and it is close to the lake. The pride parade is this month and I am excited to find out just how loud the neighborhood can be. ^_^ When I moved in, there was a problem with ants (disgusting!) but we got it taken care of within 24 hours. The location seems safe and the ...Full review of 596 W. Hawthorne Place

Great Place to Live!!! - I moved here in January and was able to move into my apartment that very same day which was more than convenient considering I was crashing on my friend's couch! While some reviews here trash the place keep in mind these reviews are from 2007 and earlier. I've never had any problems, the rent is an incredible deal considering the gym and bike room. I was at a friend's studio which ...Full review of Scholars Corner
