I'm surprised at the other reviews. I have been livin here for 1 year. This property includes internet, basic cable, and cost of the gas stove with the rent. Studios and one bedrooms are fairly priced here with those included amenities--however, the offering rent does fluctuate during the season (prices are listed higher in the peak months).

You pay for electricity including the air conditioner on your rent bill, but in contrast to the complaint in one of the other reviews, I found no problems with the charges thus far.

The only negative is that there are varying conditions to the size and quality of the kitchen units in this building. If you have a newer kitchen unit (like I do), it is really nice, a spacious sit in kitchen for even a studio with a large sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Older units lack the dishwasher, the spaciousness, and quality of appliances.

The building has doormen 24 hours--They are very friendly. The building has good security.

There is laundry and an exercise room.

Staff is professional.

Intra-apt noise is minimal, though standing the hallway you can hear noise in the apt. Upper floors should have no problem with the noise of Rush Street, though I can't speak for what it's like on lower floors. It does get noisy in the morning though if you sleep in when there is construction going on on the street.

There are two elevators in the building and one freight, it can be a pain, esp if one is out of service, but they're clean and functionable, not abnormally slow.

It is a "vintage" apt so it's not for you if you want everything to look shiny new, but I think the general quality of the units, the price, and security, far exceeds the quality and value of the other "vintage" apts in the neighborhood.
