Ever since I moved into this place, Planned Property employees (minus the maintainance) have been snotty, rude and not friendly. Marion and Orlando, two doorman are awesome!Besides all of that, they are the most unorganized company I have ever had to deal with. There has also been at least 10-15 new doorman in the past year, says alot about the safety of this place!I had a problem with my month free for giving them a refferal, had problems with getting things fixed, had and still have a cockroach problem. If you ever have to call PP corporate office, try to avoid talking to Mary Francis. This woman has no sense of customer service whatsoever. She is the most rude person on the phone and in person also.Which leads me to believe she hates her job.But that does not give her a reason to act that way to tenants. We are the ones paying her salary! So I do NOT recommend renting an apartment from any of the Planned Property units. You will be asking for a huge headache in the future! You all should check out their various violations and problems the city of Chicago has had with them. They do not follow the rules or laws of several things in the Landlord/Tenant Act. They try to cover it up and say they do and make you look like the bad guy. I have a list of people that currently live in the building that have signed a sheet agreeing there are many, many problems here in the building and with management at corporate. My suggestion is look at a different apartment complex and company! You will be much happier!

Anyone who refers to the Chicago RLTO (Landlord/Tenant Ordinance) as well as lanlord/tenant law is most likely credible and objective.

The reviewer's point that tenants (or residents, depending upon one's perspective) pay the employees' salaries (at all levels) is dead-on accurate. I was a Property Manager for 15 years, and all of my properties were larger than anything managed by Planned Property Management. It's important to remember, in the business, that the bottom line isn't the only line -- because without happy residents, there IS no bottom line. If I had ever been cited by the City for ANYTHING, I would have lost my job faster than I could have imagined. This informed review convinced me to stay away from this property and company.

(BTW, when you move into an apartment, always complete a VERY thorough and meticulous move-in checklist/walk-through sheet. It is your ONLY legal protection when it's time to move, and you want your Security Deposit returned.)
