Not bad place to live at all, and very cheap - I lived in a studio on the 3rd floor at the back of the building for a year and a half when I was still a student. At the time, the Columbian had the cheapest studios in Hyde Park (building above 53rd St. Subway also had equally cheap studios, but I found those to be much crappier). I only paid $500 a month, and the next year the rent only increased 15 dollars. Julie the manager is ...Full review of Columbian Apartments

Manager and Staff are outstanding and personable - I was attracted to the style appearance of this building. Once inside noticed it was well kept and quiet. The manager was prompt and curtious and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. They really do a lot to prepare for new residents. My total cost for move in was $335. plus the first rent. They are on the honor system here and don't require a security deposit. They ...Full review of Bell Tower Apartments

Who gave this info/ - I have lived here since the building opened and I have yet to see or hear a 2 bedroom unit in this building. This highrise is for seniors 55 and older. also your pricing is way high. All in all it is not a bad deal for seniors. The area has all you need to survive within 1mile or less other than healthcare , but transportation is steps away. I might add that the address given is incorrect the ...Full review of Maple Pointe

Country living in the middle of Chicago - Loved living at Harbor Point for nine years. We were 'empty-nestors,' who no longer wished to shovel snow, rake leaves or plant tomatoes. The Point is surrounded by water and parks. Yet it was only a couple of blocks from the Loop. If I wasn't living here in Central America in a mini-paradise AND if it wasn't so darn cold in the winters, I would have stayed at Harbor ...Full review of Harbor Point

New Kid on the Block - This newly renovated building offers 27 short-term/corporate stay units. All the latest stuff: wood floors, stainless steel appliances, marble bathrooms, etc. - stylish, but the hard surfaces don't absorb sound very well. Secure building, upscale restaurant in the building. Find your own parking. The building is mid-block, so views are limited. It's at the north ...Full review of 70 E Walton Building
