The best neighborhood and value in the city. - I've been a Sandburg resident for over 15 years. I was lucky enough to purchase my apartment when the local realtors kept these building under-valued. The apartments are very well planned and laid out. The associations have gyms, 2 pools, tennis and many other amenities. Parking is SUCH A DEAL!!! Heated and valet for $110 per month in my building. If you can find a renovated place to ...Full review of Sandburg Village

Great Place to Live - The studios here are larger than the average ones in the area, especially for the price. The hardwood floors and a roomier kitchen are a plus as are the larger mirrors (bathroom, closet sliding doors). Its location, one block from the bus stop and two from the red line, is very convenient. It is a quiet building which is nice and I have never had a problem with the landlord or ...Full review of Ambassador

Great Place to Live - Very helpful management. They make themselves very available and are easy to get in touch with if needed. Parking is street parking, but I was always able to find a spot within 2 or 3 blocks and did not need to spend much time looking for a spot. The neighborhood is quiet, but is walking distance or a short cab ride from restaurants, bars and other entertainment. Washer and dryer ...Full review of 1343 West George

Has its pros and cons. - I have lived in this building for over two years, in two different apartments. The main reason that I stayed here is the location, and the washer/dryer. Easily accessible to pretty much everything. I have lived in two different floor plans, so I can comment on both. I'll just make a list of the pros and cons. Pros: -Rent is pretty reasonable. I've lived in a one bedroom on a ...Full review of Left Bank at K Station

Hardly anything to complain about - This place has been a great building to live in. While I'm currently living in the "garden" unit, I'm thinking of moving upstairs to escape some of the winter cold. The basement units in this place get very cold, for obvious reasons, but that's really the only thing I can complain about. The company is great: responsive and professional. Neighborhood is one of the ...Full review of The Barclay

Outer Apartments A Must, Then it's all good - Make sure you rent a unit that faces Clark street or Buckingham Place. I lived here for two years and enjoyed it very much. Most friends and guests thought it was a condo. I had a 2 bedroom 2 bath facing Clark. If it weren't for the fact that my relationship ended I would have stayed. I even tried finding a room mate. My dish washer broke and they fixed it right away. The walls are thin but ...Full review of Buckingham Lofts

Happy at last! - I have moved here about a few months ago; however, I have lived in the neighborhood for a few years now. Obviously, I am very happy with the area; however, there were problems in the building where I lived before and needed to move. A friend who already lives in the building recommended this apt and I could not be happier! It's a very clean, safe and secured building with a ...Full review of 1628 W Sherwin

- This place is probably the most reasonably priced building in the neighborhood. The street is safe. The building is close to the Chicago Red Line AND several buses on Marine Drive - many of which are express. If you go west of broadway, the neighborhood can be a bit sketchy at night. But, during the day time the neighborhood is very vibrant. The building is very well maintained. The ...Full review of 850 W Argyle

Good - GREAT location, you can't ask for better. Right by major bus lines and express bus that head straight downtown (takes about 15-30 minutes), you have the option of about 6 buses to get you everywhere, and a 15 minute walk to the El. Also, just outside of Lincoln Park, and 5 minute walk to the lakefront, couldn't ask for a more beautiful neighborhood. Very safe, ...Full review of 420 West Surf
