Excellent location and spacious appartment layouts. One bedrooms have a dishwasher and laundry machines. The higher floors have nice views. There is a small 24-hr gym included in the price and several nearby health clubs.

Maintenance has always been helpful and usually prompt. Management seems to be staffed by an often-changing collection of young leasing agents of varying degrees of uselessness. Moving in and out or any other special circumstances are a total headache.

The appartments are very quiet - minimal street noise for a city at night and excellent insulation from neighbors (I have not been bothered by barking although there are dogs around). The other tenants I've met are very nice and with few apartments per floor and a doorman, the building feels very safe.

Climate control is problematic. Central heat and A/C are turned on by the building, although there are individual thermostats. Currently, well into May, there's still no A/C and my aparment on a high floor with a lot of sun exposure has ranged from 80-85 degrees for the past week and a half. Last summer, the cooling frequently malfunctioned once it was on, too.

Overall, a good building, but notably more expensive than it's neighbors (McClurg and Onterie). It may be worth it if you don't mind sweating your bum off for six weeks every sping and fall. That's the only reason I don't recommend it.

just a quick note for the above saying that mcclurg court and onterie are cheaper which I did find out was true. But Mcclurg and Onterie do not include your heat and ac so your bills are going to be ridiculous and you end up paying just as much, also those apartment complexes are huge. I have friends that live at each of those buildings and hate it because it is just way too big, too loud and all the other headache that comes with having 1000 apartments in your building, more like a dorm than a home. 420 Wins!
