I lived here for almost 2 years, and by the end of my lease I was itching to get out. The scary elevator never worked, the last 2 months I lived there they kept turning the water off with little or no warning for hours at a time with no explanations, and it is on a busy, major street and intersection so it's noisy.
I will say I never had a bug problem -- they were really good about spraying for bugs, and the only time I saw a spider was the last week I lived there.
The new on site management is absolutely horrible. There was a definite change when they took over -- they have no people skills.
The building is WAY overpriced. I paid over $800 a month for my (tiny) studio, and given the building problems it wasn't worth it. That, and when they put in new washers and dryers, they jacked the price up to $1.35 to wash, $1.35 to dry. That adds up quick! They also have one of those debit card systems for the washers and dryers and the machine ate my money on a couple of occasions, and when I complained I was told there was nothing they could do.
I moved a block away and I pay $200 less a month for the same space, new appliances, and better aneminities. Don't live here -- look around, you can find MUCH better in the area!
I would NOT reccomend living here.

Maybe you should try to look back at the building, management has changed and the pink is gone.
