Anonymous-lady-who-works-in-the-leasing-office, as far as I know, the people who live at 4423 N. Sheridan Rd... ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMMITTING THE CRIMES! And are you dumb enough to think that people are crazy enough to believe that the crime that happens in that neighborhood, isn't going to eventually touch them?!! I used to live there! That place is a dump! When was the last time the hallways were painted? Why are those death-traps you call elevators, always STUCK or OUT OF ORDER? And stop trying to pretend that that building isn't infested with ROACHES and RATS! I realize you want to rent those apartments, but let's be reasonable!

You know, I have been to the building (4423 N Sheridan) within the last couple of weeks. In fact, I signed my new lease there. When I read all the negative reviews on this site I couldn't believe it since it was so far from what I actually saw! The place is clean and it smells clean. The elevators are in perfect working order. The cabs were left as is to keep the vintage look but the equipment is brand new. The apartments are clean and very well maintained. There are no roaches. The water is clean and the people living in the building are friendly. The views from the apartments are the best I saw on Sheridan for the price range! I couldn't recommend a better place to live! And if you're worried about safety just don't walk along Sheridan between Montrose and Foster . . . .but you'd be fine anyway!
