I lived at 5044 Marine Drive for just shy of three years. I loved it there. The staff, the management, the amazing courtyard---all of it was great. They are a social, community focused bunch. Living there was like a membership at a relaxed country club. The manager, Grace, she is the best---she keeps the ship running smoothly. Her crew---they must be retirees from one of those luxury ocean liners--they take care of business nicely and efficiently. I have never had one problem with the staff at all.
The building has an art deco design, and it is cute as can be. They accept pets, and all were well behaved.
A park is directly east of the building and it is (dare I say meticulously) maintained.
Parking is a creature from the black lagoon.
If you have a chance---move there---tell'em Sol from C-1 sent you. (No kickbacks, just good vibrations.)
