When this building was managed by Tomany Management, things were dealt with in a timely manner.

Beal Properties took over in May, and there have been nothing but problems since.

I suppose you could overlook the fact that they don't make it easy for you to get the packages that have been sent you, the overall appearance of the grounds and the myriad other tiny things that slipped as soon as Beal took over. But the truth is that as of this writing there have been a minimum of three (if not four) burglaries in the past two weeks, and the management is doing NOTHING to help.

When questioned, the building managers get defensive and argue that they are nothing more than 'simple janitors'. Calling Beal Properties is no help either, since the man who runs Beal is rude and unhelpful. The overall attitude is "too bad you had your door busted in and your belongings stolen, tough luck". They haven't even seemed interested in adequately fixing the broken doors from the burglaries.

Despite all the break-ins, they have not fixed the security cameras. They have allowed lights to go dead in the mailroom and the basement laundry room.

Possibly the worst of all is that the management KNOWS who is doing it, yet they will not cooperate with the police to apprehend the person and put an end to it. Suddenly, the very nice apartment that I moved in to is a very scary place to be. People are moving out because they fear for their safety, and the management does not seem to care.

If another management company takes over, this building would come highly reccommended. It's a nice building in a nice neighborhood. But considering the current state of affairs, I urge everyone to STAY AWAY.
