Very unsafe place. We had people solliciting and trying to get in our apartment. My car got broken into and towed by the building towing company despite proper display of the sticker. Half of the lights in the parking lot have been out for a while, making it dark and unsafe. Overall cleaningness of the building is really poor. I had to clean for 24 hours when we moved in. The apartment was really filthy. It seems to be a constant anyhow as the laundry room is filthy too! Hasn't been cleaned in months. You have to watch out not to dirty the clothes you just washed... when the washers and dryers are working. We were told there was a bike room in the building. There is none. What is called the bike room is the hallway going to the laundry room. It doesn't lock and your bike is exposed to anyone. There is not even a rail where you can secure it! Did I mention also the trash chute that gets backed up as it is not emptied often enough and sends very undesirable smell all over the floors.

You are dead on regarding the cleanliness, the bike situation, and the laundry room. Let us not forget...you never grow accustomed to the smell of urine in the elevators. I would like to believe it is from all the dogs in the building, but I honestly do not think it is. People also spit on the walls and buttons of the elevators...seen that one personally. Also, people randomly buzz the units in the building and without fail, someone lets them in...it's a very unsafe building.
