I dont know what these people have against the building, but I have been a condo owner since 6/04, and have never had any of the issues that these "bitter tenants" have had. The management has always been professional, and I havent seen 1 roach. Readers. please keep in mind that this building has goen condo, so I am sure there are alot of bitter people that have nothing nice to say, especially if they have been booted from the building.

GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN (or don't come more like it)! This place is a DUMP! The water pressure sucks, the elevators are always broke and the highly paid "manager" (making $65K of our assests) does NOTHING! She blames everything on the old owners which was 3 years ago - come on - take some responsibility! The pool is never cleaned out, the fitness room equipment is in bad need of repairs / preventative maintenance (but then again, their "maintenance" staff sweeps floors, not repair, my bad.. - not maintenance!). OH - and don't expect to use the pool deck open for the "summer"....they lock you out at 9pm SHARP! If you are out there cooking, the old ladies running the desk (...by the way..they call these 60 y/o ladies security)will lock you out. Not so safe. It is more of a retirement community than an upscale lakeview neighborhood. Sudler Management claims to "manage" the building, but I see otherwise...do not go into their buildings! Manager Salary 61,750 $61,750 64,837 3,087 5%

Manager Salary: $61,750 (2007) $61,750 (budget) $64,837(2008) $3,087- salary increase 5% (increase). SHE'S NOT WORTH THE $$$$. This manager gets $65K / year to sit in her office and do nothing all day. The place is horrible. She post signs in our elevators (that never work) and misspells everything. They are right about the pool hours, you can not even enjoy the deck in the middle of summer, they do lock you out at 9pm SHARP! The fitness room has a lot to be desired...the equipment is old and in need of preventative maintenance. The door staff (???security???) is less than friendly, as is the building manager. Someone mentioned water pressure, and they are right about that too...NONE! And they hate dogs in this building too! They sneer at you as you walk by with your dog or when you have to come in the front because the side doors or elevator is broken (again). And don't work from home, they have been tuck pointing for over a year now and sounds like jackhammers in your own place. This place is terrible and can not wait to get out! Don't get fooled into moving in (not to mention it is the highest costing building in Chicago to move in to - $500 to move in / $500 to move out - RIDICULOUS! What do they do with that money?)!!!

WOW! I had the same experience moving in and I thought the same thing. I had not scratched a thing, but she took my $500.00 too! I was pissed and can not wait to move out. This place is nothing but trouble. I was told there was a bike room here, but apparently it has been full for over 2 years...sounds like there there are SEVERAL units open, but they are full?....with what? Grandma's Walkers? Thankfully I only have 2 months to go! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! (OH - don't forget - you have to pay $500.00 to move in AND another $500.00 to move out (non -refundable, remember, that is how she is paid), ON TOP OF a $500.00 DEPOSIT each time = $1000.00 if she does not give you the "deposit" back.
